“Overpriced for poor service and lacking amenities”
Location, pool. Staff, broken elevator, lost reservation (paid in full with receipt), rude desk staff , parking lot garbage can overflowing for days, vomit on sidewalk, very limited menu

The spot was convenient, close to Northstar and a few miles from Truckee, and the on‑site shopping center gave easy access to snacks; the coffee supplied in the room and hallway was pretty good, but the shower’s spray always splashed onto the floor because the tub’s 3‑inch moat drains there—maybe a sponge mop would help.
The place is a bit off the beaten path, giving it a relaxed, private feel with nice décor and comfy spots to unwind; the pool area is lovely, the whole site has a charming vibe that carries into the evening, and when it gets chilly the fire pits provide just the right warmth to enjoy the fresh, tasty air.
