The staff were attentive, the location was great, and the lodging itself was solid. The cabins, however, don’t really offer a clear view of the river, and a lot of light pours into the rooms, which makes it hard to sleep past the early morning.

The pool needs better safety and comfort. The corners and seams between tiles have sharp edges that can cause cuts, scrapes or accidents; the finishes should be rounded and smooth to eliminate any dangerous edges. This is a significant safety issue that must be fixed.

Being surrounded by nature feels good and this hotel connects you with it; it’s very green and you feel wrapped in a forest yet just a step from the road to the town or back to Medellín, which was nice. The air‑conditioner condenser sits directly behind the bed, diagonally, and its noise is quite uncomfortable—if you’re a light sleeper, it will disturb you, as it did for me. Also, you can’t sleep late unless you bring a blind, because the cabin has a window that can’t be covered and all the morning sun pours in early.

The space is very pleasant for resting and sharing with a partner, family, or friends, and the logistics staff were excellent.
