The lookout lodge

We absolutely loved our stay at The Lookout Lodge! The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Visiting during the low season meant we practically had the entire hotel to ourselves, which made our stay even more peaceful and enjoyable. The rooms were perfect, and we had a lovely three‑night stay. The hotel sits in a beautiful, quiet area, with a few local restaurants nearby. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, and we would definitely recommend it! The only minor downsides were the limited breakfast options, especially if you’re particular about what you eat, as there isn’t much choice, and the lack of electrical outlets.

They welcomed us warmly and the entire staff was very sweet! We wanted to get away from the city, so it was perfect. They were helpful with transport and great dining spots. Breakfast was really delicious and they went above and beyond. We were the only guests there, so the manager was very flexible with checkout times, which was super nice. The only drawback was that during low season many restaurants were closed.

“Heerlijke plek voor rustzoekers”

About a 10‑minute walk to the ocean. We followed the owner’s suggestion to spot sea turtles with a guide, which was fantastic! The Lookout Lodge has only a few apartments, and with its lovely pool and beautiful surrounding plants it feels like a small paradise. You’re greeted warmly and instantly feel at home. Breakfast is tidy. Nearby are several small eateries. We enjoyed a tasty meal at Ruwani restaurant.
