The pond added a nice touch, though the place got a little noisy in the evenings.

I appreciated that a spot was still available in the mobile home when I booked, the close distance to Péronne, the hot shower water, the sink, and the clothes‑drying rack. However, many facilities were poorly maintained or outright broken: the wooden stairs leading to the terrace were rickety and unsafe even before I stepped onto them, the light at the foot of the mobile home was simply propped on the grass and kept falling, and the manager blamed passing motorhomes for the damage. The wooden slats on the terrace were filthy with crumbs that got stuck under the boards and couldn’t be swept away, the curtain rod in the bedroom seemed to stay up by sheer luck, the end caps were found lying on the refrigerator in the kitchen, the windows wouldn’t close properly—if at all—during the heatwave, the toilet‑paper roll holder was broken and lying on the floor, the TV had no Wi‑Fi and was badly tuned, and the receptionist told me to look for channels on Molotov using my phone’s data. All these small issues piled up, showing a clear lack of upkeep and attention. A bit of goodwill would go a long way; for example, the terrace ceiling light didn’t work, but the bulb was replaced the same day after I asked. Thanks for the effort, and I hope the site continues to improve, even though the overall impression was disappointing for departing campers.

The staff were friendly and the pond looked beautiful, adding a nice touch. Unfortunately the place was dirty; I had to clean the mobile home and sweep the terrace as soon as I arrived, and noisy youngsters caused a racket outside at night despite several complaints from locals and the campsite team that went unanswered.

We liked how the campsite sits close to the town centre, its shops and banks, the main roads, the bike path and the historic sites worth seeing. The staff greeted us with smiles and confidence and were always ready to help. Seeing both tourists and seasonal workers around was a surprise at first but it never bothered us as long as everyone respected each other.
