Whether you stay just one night or longer, the Penzion Tematin with its attached restaurant is a must‑visit; even though we don’t speak Slovak, we were pleasantly surprised to find several staff members who spoke German fluently.

I especially want to praise the amazing staff—friendly, kind, and attentive ladies who made our stay pleasant; the food and breakfast were very good, homemade cakes were great, everything was regularly restocked, and the personal touch showed real care for guests, which we appreciate and hope to experience again; the only downside was hearing noise from the hallway and rooms.

The staff were very friendly and attentive to our comfort, the atmosphere was quiet and cozy, and the room with a balcony was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was generous, dinner could be reordered, bikes could be stored, and the wellness facilities were available. We’ll definitely return.

Everyone was incredibly kind and eager to help, the room was roomy and spotless, and the breakfast buffet had many choices. The sauna and jacuzzi could be used, and massage treatments could be booked; parking was inside the garden. Our dog was allowed to join us in the restaurant, and the food there was tasty with large portions. Nothing negative to note.
