The huge pool was fantastic, and the setting was peaceful amid natural surroundings. Peacocks, lizards and other wildlife roamed everywhere, and we even spotted a hornbill from our balcony. The food was fine, but for more variety it’s worth exploring local spots. One night we used room service when we weren’t very hungry, and it was both convenient and tasty.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were absolutely amazing—kind, helpful, and always eager to ensure our comfort. Breakfast was excellent, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the pool was perfect. The hotel is surrounded by nature and very peaceful, ideal for a quiet, relaxing getaway. The only drawback was the cold shower and weak water pressure; the staff checked the system and offered alternative showers. Because of elephants in the area, leaving the hotel in the evening isn’t possible, so dinner must be at the hotel, but the menu is varied and reasonably priced.

First and foremost, the setting is simply stunning. The lush garden is beautiful and impeccably maintained. The pool is huge and gorgeous. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. What we appreciated most was the service; the staff were attentive and lovely, making our 5‑night stay memorable. Thanks to the whole team for a wonderful stay. A small touch of air‑conditioning in the bathroom and the gym would have been nice, but it was only a minor issue.

This hotel surpassed all our expectations. We stayed for 2 nights but could have stayed longer. The staff were welcoming and very helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. The grounds and pool were beautiful and well maintained, showing the care put into the property. Our room was spacious with a lovely balcony view, and we saw plenty of wildlife around, including monkeys running through the pool area. The location is perfect for a Minneriya safari and Sigiriya.
