The room was spacious, with a very nice terrace, a small kitchen, and a large living room, all just 100 m from the sea.

I think it’s important to leave a review for this place. When you’re planning a stay, it matters that the photos and description match reality. Everything here is great and lives up to what’s promised. 👍 So, in addition to the previous positive comments, I’ll add that everywhere is very clean and cozy. All the essentials are there, which isn’t common everywhere. The hosts are a very welcoming, hospitable, and friendly family who helped solve all the tourist questions. Opposite the house is a local café, very simple but cheap and fully immersed in the local cuisine. The only downside is that this house is 2.5 km from Weligama’s center, which you just have to keep in mind. The beach is about a hundred meters away, convenient. Surfboard rentals are near the beach. A proper shop and tourist infrastructure are only in Weligama’s center; at 2.5 km in the evening there’s only tuk‑tuk, because it’s dark along the coast and unsafe to walk on the road.

The family is very kind and always answered our questions. The owner immediately helped with bike rental. Clean, cozy, everything as in the photos, and the beach is literally across the road. Popular beach clubs and cafés are a five‑minute bike ride away.
