“OK for one night stay”
The interior space—sleeping area and bathroom—was nicely updated and spacious, and the full kitchen was comfortable with bedding and a nice hot shower, though no pots, pans or other cooking/serving utensils were remembered (we were only there one night, so it didn’t matter). I expected something a little more upscale based on the overall rating of 7.9, and the exterior looked seedy. The property sits on a busy road with little shoulder to exit onto the driveway without being rear‑ended by traffic going 60+ mph, which is even worse at night. The walls are very thin, so conversations and noises from adjoining rooms can be heard, especially in the ground‑level room where noise from the room above is noticeable. The heating unit (perhaps not used lately) had a musty odor. There were no dining options nearby and no one in the office (check‑in was contactless) to give recommendations; we ended up at Leo’s Pizzaria about 5 minutes away. The pizza was great, but calling ahead was necessary—our walk‑in wait time for one pizza was over an hour.
