“Staff is very friendly, location is perfect and rooms are clean.”
The breakfast was good, but there was an awful sewerage smell coming from the bathroom.
The room was stunning, but the breakfast was bad.

The breakfast and the view were great, and there were no negatives.
Nothing stood out, which is disappointing because it wasn’t my first visit and I had liked it enough to return, but that was a mistake. 1. Reception felt like I was bothering the lady checking us in; I don’t expect staff to be all sunshine, but as a host, you should make people feel welcome, and the treatment I received was far from welcoming. After a long journey, I was eager to check in but was immediately let down. 2. A horrible smell was present and they tried to mask it with an absurd amount of room spray; you could smell it from the moment you walked in, all the way through reception and into our room. 3. A large group of guests were very loud and rowdy in the reception area and hallways, and staff made no effort to quiet them. 4. The carpet in the room had its own odor. These and other reasons were enough for us to cancel the rest of our stay and book elsewhere. When we tried to cancel, the process took forever; the lady at reception demanded to know why we wanted to check out the next morning. Canceling was inconvenient and ended up costing more financially, but for the sake of feeling safe and comfortable, it was worth it.
