The bed was very comfortable, and my room was large and airy with a nice window view that you could open for fresh air. Unfortunately, there was visible mold all over one side of the wall, likely because the shower in the bathroom shared a ceiling with the rest of the room. Despite that, the air felt fine to breathe overall, but the mold was definitely a problem.

I had a bed, breakfast, shower, and Wi‑Fi. The place was advertised as a communal hostel, but I didn’t see anyone else there.

The hotel staff were very attentive and super kind. The hotel has a restaurant that serves lunches and offers extremely tasty food—one of the tastiest I’ve tried in Quito. The location is absolutely perfect.

The price was very pleasant at nine dollars per night with breakfast included, which I found excellent. Everything else was perfect, except that at night there was sometimes noise from cars, which is common, but otherwise everything was great.

The hostel’s location is super close to historic points of interest and public transport. The receptionists were very friendly, and the local breakfast was included. The rooms keep that colonial charm and have hot water. The only drawback was that an extra blanket would have been nice because it was quite cold.
