The quiet atmosphere and the price were the main draws, and the rooms were clean and tidy, plus the breakfast juice was tasty and there were plenty of TV channels to choose from. However, the staff were present but seemed disengaged, outdoor trash cans stayed full throughout our three nights, wilted leaves from potted plants lingered in the restaurant for days, and leftover salt/pepper always sat under the condiment set. Breakfast felt very bland for 149 kr, and the same price applied to children and adults even though a drink was included; guests had to remind staff to refill the bread, and the cold cuts were just dumped on a platter without any presentation. On the first morning there was no jam, honey, etc., and the hot water in the room took several minutes to actually get warm.

The location was definitely a plus, but the rooms showed some wear and the breakfast we bought separately (it wasn’t part of the booking) felt far too expensive in my opinion.

Having traveled a lot in Denmark and abroad, I’ve never seen a bathroom where the toilet bowl is mounted almost flush against the wall; I was worried it might cause a hip injury. It might be fine for very small people, but it’s unsuitable for adults.
