The host was fantastic, as always – this was my fifth visit and I’ll keep coming back to Canoa Quebrada. I only stayed a couple of days, so I didn’t get to explore much, but the service made up for it. Funny enough, I was there so briefly that I barely unpacked.

Breakfast was solid and the front desk staff were friendly, which made mornings easy. The only drawback is that the place sits a bit away from the town center, so you’ll need to walk or take a ride to get around. Overall, decent for a relaxed vibe.

The spot is super quiet at night, and they even have a gated parking lot on the grounds. The little houses were comfortable and everything worked fine, though the double bed felt a bit cramped. Air‑conditioning kept the heat at bay, the pool was fine and the beach is just a short walk away, plus breakfast was tasty. The staff were genuinely friendly and helped whenever we needed anything, and the town center is within walking distance, so overall I’d say it’s a solid pick.
