“Ottima posizione”
The staff were incredibly friendly, and the location right at the entrance of the National Park was great. Breakfast was good, and the setting feels like another park across the gate, accessed via a 20‑minute dirt track that feels like a real safari. Highly recommended!
“Soggiorno ad Hobatere e colazione "con vista"”
The lodge sits in a private reserve on the west side of Etosha, reached after crossing the park and exiting at Galton Gate. The common areas and rooms are well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Morning, afternoon, or evening game drives can be arranged. Dinner food is excellent and somewhat refined, and the rooms are clean and well equipped. Breakfast offers a wide variety, and you can even spot a lion near the pool! The downside is that the lodge is just over half an hour from Galton Gate on a fairly rough Namibian road, so a 4x4 is recommended. Wi‑Fi doesn’t reach the rooms.
“Disappointing stay”
The food was nice, but there was no Wi‑Fi in the rooms and it was very poor in the lodge. I was charged for a game drive that seemed unreasonable and wasn’t informed about it when I booked. The guide was knowledgeable, yet there were very few animals to see.
