The Tonzhaus Hotel, a family-run property, is situated 2 km from Val Senales' centre and 10 km from ski slopes at 1,500 metres altitude. The hotel features en-suite rooms with mountain-view balconies, a spa with hot tub and sauna, and a restaurant serving South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine on its sunny, panoramic terrace, surrounded by a relaxing garden with sun loungers.

The hotel has a very nice location with a sensational view of the mountain panorama, the staff is extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful, and we especially want to thank Sigrid, a delightful, competent and super nice service staff.

The location was absolutely fantastic, with an outdoor pool offering a wonderful view and a spa that had well‑maintained, panoramic relaxation areas. The food was carefully prepared and tasty. Parking was close and easy to access, and the rooms were spotless. The only downside was the almost nonexistent refresh of the room furnishings to match the recent renovation of the common areas, and the dinner menu had fewer local references than I had hoped, though that might actually be a plus for a foreigner.

The food quality was excellent, the view stunning, and the spa clean and pleasant; everything was very well organized. The only issue was that there was no fridge in the room, and it would have been nice to find local specialties in the room as well.

The hotel’s location is very nice and serves as a good starting point for hikes or the glacier train. We liked the spacious room with a valley view, and the room service kept the rooms impeccably clean. We recommend the half‑board, which offers convincingly tasty dishes that are wonderfully plated. The breakfast buffet leaves no desire unmet and offers a wide selection of high‑quality regional products. The service ladies are quick and friendly, and overall the highly motivated staff are always very helpful. After the snow hikes we enjoyed the wellness area with a sauna and an outdoor pool. A special thank you for the beautiful bouquet that my husband ordered for his birthday! And a recommendation for a short excursion: tasty bacon, cheese, and honey can be found at the Hofkäserei Infangl (Katharinenberg). The only missing item would be a kettle in the room.
