I booked this accommodation mainly because of its proximity to Crystal Bay. Nusa Penida is completely different from Bali, but it is definitely worth spending a few days here and visiting the beautiful local sites. Crystal Bay is about a 10‑minute walk from the lodging. The path and terrain were not difficult for me. Right next to the lodging are also restaurants. I highly recommend Kana Bay – they really cook great. Highly recommended! 👌 At night, I was unfortunately unpleasantly surprised by insects. While sleeping, beetles were active and bit me several times, so the night comfort was not entirely ideal. Communication was also a bit more complicated, because one of the gentlemen who handled the accommodation spoke English only limitedly. One of the restaurants next to the lodging also disappointed me a lot. I ordered tuna cucumber rolls, but the food looked completely different from what I expected – instead of classic rolls I basically got tuna laid on cucumber and it didn’t taste at all right. On the other hand, Kana Bay restaurant I can really recommend.

Very well‑located for snorkeling at one of the most beautiful beaches, Crystal Bay, reasonable price. Lack of cleanliness, the bed is extremely noisy when you move and there are a lot of insects in the room (spider, scorpion, ants…) no insulation.

A very nice bungalow, right in the original village with chickens, cows, pigs and very friendly people. Very quiet, pleasant and the breakfast was excellent and fresh. The beach is a 5‑minute walk and you’re already in a perfect snorkeling paradise. Simply wonderful!
