The hotel was pleasant with very welcoming staff—almost everyone spoke English—and the cleaning was excellent. The food wasn’t extremely varied but still tasty, with themed dinner evenings each night; there was a huge daily selection of sweets and fruit, and you could get something to eat 24 hours a day. Several à‑la‑carte restaurants were on site, though we didn’t try them. Traveling with our 10‑month‑old, we found baby purees (Hipp) and child‑friendly biscuits in the restaurant, and we also fed him regular diet meals, which helped him start eating with the rest of the family. The waiters were polite and service was very fast. The fitness centre was good but had very limited opening hours, as did the nice spa (massage extra charge) and the indoor pool. The property also has an arcade, bowling, reasonably priced shops, and a mini‑club offering activities in three or four languages at various times. The grounds are compact, dominated by pools—a 1.4 m deep adult pool, a shallow “frog” pool for kids, and two water parks. Guests claimed sun loungers from early morning and they disappeared for the rest of the day, but staff quickly provided extra loungers when asked, a common issue in large hotels during peak season. The private sandy beach was large with plenty of loungers that were always available. There were adult and children’s animation programs, foam parties, white parties, kids’ games, and aqua‑aerobics, so any activity you wanted was on offer. The room had everything we needed, towels were changed daily, and the mattresses were extremely soft (a downside for us). You could order a personal orthopedic pillow for an extra fee. The minibar was restocked every day but only contained drinks, no snacks. I wish the spa and fitness centre stayed open longer, it was a bit warm in the shared areas like the lobby, restaurants and halls, and the cocktails were disappointing—most bars made them poorly, although the alcohol itself was decent.
