The room and terrace were nice. The neighbors were horrible, with children shouting, but that was not the hotel’s fault.

The setting could be charming. The room had no window (just a tiny skylight), and the worst part was that despite a big wedding being organized on Saturday 26 September with a hellish music party planned until 2 am, the hotel still had a room listed on Booking that I had reserved three weeks before that date (so the wedding was already planned, I suppose). The result was such strong music that everything vibrated in the room, even the water in the glass. From our room we felt like we were right next to the concert stage because the vibrations were powerful all the way until 2 am. I had booked the room to sleep because I had more than 6 h 30 of driving to do alone on Sunday. It was impossible to close my eyes before 3 am. The least the hotel could do when a restaurant hosts a wedding is to reserve rooms for the wedding guests and not accept other clients who want to sleep, a pretty standard practice when booking a hotel night, to avoid ruining the night and jeopardising the next day’s drive.

The atmosphere was welcoming, and the reception was caring and attentive. The only issue was the room door with a curtain, but that’s not a major problem.

The location is outside the city.

The room was very calm despite the festive meals. Nothing else.
