“Logement très bien situé pour l’interaction avec les éléphants”
The room’s location was close to the river and the elephants, but the bed was really, really hard.

The highlight of our stay was definitely the elephants, not the accommodation. Our riverside room was a letdown compared to others, which were nicer and more decorated. The shower room was huge but completely empty, and we had to do without a fridge, water glasses, or a coffee cup. On the other hand, the staff at reception were friendly and helpful, especially L and the guy who took us to bathe with the elephants.

The elephant experience was truly special, thanks to the community's kind treatment of them. However, the rest of the stay was a bit of a letdown.

The elephant experience was truly amazing, but unfortunately, the rest of our stay was a disaster. The service was awful, with staff being extremely disorganized and speaking very little English. We waited 40 minutes to check in, and our activities were delayed without any notice. The room was big and decent, but lacked most comforts, and the food delivery was a joke. The whole place felt rundown and didn't feel safe, with slippery slopes and a wobbly bamboo bridge to cross the river.

Unfortunately, our stay was a disaster. The cabin was dirty, the facilities were in bad shape - a broken chair and uneven floor made it a hazard near the river - and we even spotted some creepy crawlies. To top it off, the cabin was only partially enclosed, making it a nightmare if the river were to flood. And to see the elephants, you'd have to book a separate tour, which was a major rip-off.
