They handed me a room that was available and larger than I needed; the overall area was clean except for a child’s crayon mark, and the hallways were tidy with no damage. My double locks worked and I felt safe staying overnight. However, the sheets had a skid poop mark that made the bed unusable, and the hallways had a strong marijuana odor.

The location was convenient for what I needed, the parking lot was easy to access, and the staff handled the work efficiently. The building itself is rundown, the outside door locks are broken, people are wandering in from outside, and it’s in a state of general disrepair.

The double queen room was huge and felt like our own space, but the bathroom clearly needed more TLC.

The staff were courteous, the price was reasonable, the room was a decent size and in a good spot, yet the room itself was neglected: cobwebs in obvious spots, bugs, stains on the linen, a broken window that wasn’t taped for safety, a broken shower rod and tub stopper, no phone so I had to walk up front, and the noise from other guests wasn’t addressed. People were using BBQ grills through the windows and even entering the room through the window, which made me uneasy about safety and security. I’m not sure if the management was aware of all this or if all the cameras were on. Police had to visit a few times, kids were running down the hallway and popping fireworks outside the windows.

The room looked good at first glance but the appearance was misleading; the staff were friendly. Roaches were present, the bathtub was dirty, the sheets had stains, TV remotes had issues, and the beds were as hard as a rock, which left my back hurting when I woke up. Stains on the walls looked like blood, and at 3 am other guests were arguing, waking my daughters, grandbaby, and me.
