“Our stay was ok but would be great if there was parking available for disabled people.”
The view and breakfast are excellent. The staff helped us with our disabilities by putting us in a ground‑floor room so we didn’t have to go downstairs to the restaurant because the elevator was broken. Because of traffic and many road closures, we called to say we couldn’t arrive before 9 pm, and the staff member Tom on 18/09/26, the day we checked in, was very nice in accommodating us. The first‑come, first‑served policy of the hotel bothered us even though we had requested a disabled parking reservation. I’m 74, had a total knee replacement, and my husband is 91 with spinal stenosis. Other than no disabled parking, we liked the hotel for everything else. We didn’t sleep well because the bed was harder than ours, so that’s the only thing we didn’t like.
“Drippy taps, poor flush on toilet and basic facilities”
The place is well situated, but parking is limited; the breakfast was good.
“A resonably good hotel for the price range.”
Overall it was quite good for the price range. Being a low‑cost hotel, it met all our expectations and needs; nothing was missing that you’d expect. The breakfast wasn’t the best quality, but you won’t get the best at that price range, and it was fine. We booked bed and breakfast for two nights while traveling, and it was absolutely fine. Parking is a bit awkward in the area, even though the hotel has some limited free parking right in front—just not enough. There is other free parking nearby, but you might need to walk a couple of hundred yards if you’re not lucky.
“Good, would stay there again.”
The rooms were clean and functional, the staff were friendly and helpful, the location was good, and the breakfast was good. We only stayed one night, arrived late in the evening, and left right after breakfast, so we didn’t really get a chance to explore the hotel or get to know the staff.
“Ok.”
The location is close to the sea front and the town, and there’s free parking on site. The lift is out of order, there are no shower products—just a tiny bar of soap—and the breakfast is average with little choice.
