“Ideal for staying to explore the town & galleries, nice vibe to the town. Interesting & memorable.”
The property is very quirky and atmospheric, ideally situated near the town and all the art galleries, comfortable with a lovely bathroom, and the rooms are huge and the place itself very interesting. It was closed when we got there and a key was stuck to the door; no problem, but they had an event that night which meant everything was booked for food, so a greeting and a heads‑up that we needed to book something to eat would have been nice. We managed a very late last‑minute dinner in town. The bedroom is huge, but there’s no kettle, tea, coffee, fridge, etc., which is a shame. Breakfast was okay but very limited. After our night before, which was cheaper in a château, this was not as good, I’m sorry to say, and I was particularly looking forward to staying.
