“If you want an alternative to the chain hotel groups give this a try.”
Great location as it was around 10min walk from the train station and approximately 5 mins from the beach and bus stop. Joleen and her staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delightful. Walking up the stairs 😏
“Shabby not chic - must try harder”
The bed was comfortable, the room was a decent size and the location was good. There was a nice sea view from the room. A lovely member of staff at checkout offered to provide me a take-away breakfast as I was leaving for a train (which I had to decline due to lack of time). Somewhat shabby decor/ finish (the photos are misleading). No toiletries were provided in the room (“we don’t really do toiletries”), there was no hairdryer, the TV remote was missing, next room’s TV was audible through the wall, there was a wait for staff at reception and breakfast was not served until 9am (which I therefore missed as I had a train to catch at 9.37am). Not worth what I paid

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, aber das Frühstück war nur ein British Breakfast ohne Variationen und die Speisen waren zu stark gebraten, fast verkohlt.

I liked the cooked breakfast and the staff were very friendly, but new carpets with a solid underlay would improve the room.
