I tried to get into the property even though I had called ahead to set a time, but when we arrived on schedule we knocked on both doors and shouted through the windows with no response, so I had to find another place to stay.
The location was decent, but there was no staff, very little food, and a downstairs bathroom/toilet.
“Disappointing”
The location was quite good and the mattress was good, but the host was not at the property at the scheduled time and could not be reached; there was no breakfast, no milk or other breakfast items, the place was grubby, the carpet had not been vacuumed, there were beard hairs on the sink, the kettle in the room was black with dirt, and the expected toiletries were missing because the soap dispenser was empty.

The place was a classic workers' end terrace with two rooms, a kitchen and bath downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs, probably built between 1900‑1910; the thick walls kept it from getting too hot even on the hottest day of the year, breakfast supplies were available, and the owner was helpful, though the address was confusing because it used a terrace number instead of a street number, making it hard to locate on a map.
