We were greeted very warmly. The building is very well designed with nice details, the rooms are large and clean, the bathroom has a floor‑level shower, everything is quite big and bright, windows that can be opened, a large parking lot, breakfast offers a generous selection, friendly service, and at breakfast you can sit outside.

The room was super comfy and the breakfast was solid. Nobody was at the front desk when we arrived, and there was no prior notice that we’d have to call the hotel to check in at the scheduled time.

The Palacium Charming Suites is a gorgeous, well‑maintained spot with charming stone construction, tasteful décor, and lovely outdoor areas that make the setting even more pleasant. The owner, Patrícia, is a sweet, friendly, and welcoming host. The breakfast is excellent, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice and the friendly staff. I also appreciated the high‑quality towels, blankets, shower gel, and other small touches that make a difference. The garden is delightful and the location lets you explore Figueiró dos Vinhos and the surrounding area. We stayed from 18 to 20 October and the room wasn’t cleaned during that time; the sheet had a nasty smell similar to damp fabric. At night, a green light above the door and a flashing light on the ceiling—apparently a smoke detector—were annoying. We couldn’t use YouTube or Netflix on the TV, and there was no toothpaste in the bathroom, which I expected in a place of this standard.

The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were incredibly friendly. At the end of the hallway there was a common area with a kitchen and dining room where we could brew coffee. The pool was great, very warm under the covered roof. Breakfast was good and varied, and the coffee was nice too.

Facilities were nice and everything was very clean. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable. The pool was large and always warm because it’s covered. The only downside was that we didn’t have a table to sit at for breakfast, so it would be better to schedule a specific time for guests to eat.
