The location is great, close to the ocean, with daily thorough cleaning, tasty breakfasts, and courteous staff, and the price‑quality ratio is spot on. The only downside was that there was no table in the room (apart from a cosmetic one) to eat fruit or drink tea.

“Better places to stay”

The place is well‑situated. I stayed in the villas section, but it wasn’t clean and the cupboards, drawers and wardrobe wouldn’t open because the wood had expanded in the heat; the wardrobe sides were falling apart. When I finally opened the door, a huge dead cockroach was inside. The balcony lounge was plastic and had mould, so I had to lay a towel down. The cooking area was greasy to the touch. The walls are paper‑thin, so if neighbors are around at all hours you literally hear everything. The photos of the room looked great but the reality was different.

“Poor”

Sari Beach Villas isn’t on the beach and doesn’t even provide beach access. Upon check‑in the room smelled of smoke, the toilet wasn’t working, and the key card wouldn’t open the door. When I tried to use the power outlet, the plug fell off the wall. The fridge was so frozen that nothing could be stored in it, only in the door. Daily breakfast was fine, but after the first day there was no butter and the jam containers were full of bees, making it impossible to use.
