I had a last‑minute booking for a trip to Bad Reichenhall and never expected to end up in such a beautiful, quiet place. The location by Thumsee is simply dreamy, and I felt comfortable from the moment I arrived. Unfortunately, I suffered a food poisoning on the way that left me feeling awful for the next three days. Pharmacy meds didn't help, and only after seeing a doctor did I start to feel better. I’m especially grateful for the warm family that made me feel at home during my stay, checking on me and asking if I was feeling better. Their personal care meant a lot to me while I was alone, and it lifted my spirits in a tough situation. Thank you for the heartfelt hospitality, friendliness, and the sense of welcome. I wish the whole family all the best and many more satisfied guests. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, I’ll always remember this special place and hope to return soon with my family.

“Gerne wieder!”

The location is dreamy, rooms are very clean, and the outdoor areas are well maintained—no complaints there. The only practical additions would be a cosmetic mirror in the bathroom and the ability to brew a small cup of coffee in the room. Otherwise, everything is great!

“Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen.”

On a sunny day, having breakfast on the terrace with a magnificent sunrise over the mountains and Thumsee feels like a dream. The hosts and staff are extremely kind and very personal. The chef himself prepared the breakfast—varied and tasty. I found peace and relaxation here.

“Přírodní oáza a tradiční penzion”

Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of breads, homemade jams, eggs, sausages, cheeses, and for diet lovers, yogurts, fruit, and flakes; the accommodation was very clean, the hosts created a homely atmosphere, and the location boasts exceptional nature—lake, forests, and mountains—making it suitable for everyone, and the nearby restaurant offers a good dinner. All was satisfactory.
