It’s a lovely property in a fabulous location, rural but close enough to Whitby/Goathland. Everything you need for a short stay. Decor is adorable and the layout has been thoroughly thought out. It took us such a long time to get the hot tub to temperature, the kids were absolutely itching to get in but took several hours and then only felt warm. When staying again I would check if the hot tub could be pre-lit prior to our arrival

The view from the lodge was absolutely stunning, and the outdoor hot tub was a highlight! Our host, Sarah, prepared it for us and patiently explained how to use it. On a clear night, enjoying the hot bath with a drink under the starry sky is an unforgettable experience. A BBQ stove is also available. Overall, it is a quiet, cosy cabin that is perfect for couples or small families. The bathroom, toilet, and main cooking and dining facilities are all located outside the cabin. This setup is perfect for summer dining with a beautiful view, but it can be quite inconvenient during heavy rain or cold weather. There is a microwave inside the cabin for quick indoor meals. Please note that a hair dryer was not provided, so you may want to bring your own

The view was amazing but sadly the hot tub took 2 hours of our stay just to get warm enough to get in. The host was more than helpful. Kitchen area and bathroom outside on balcony of facility.

Accommodation, views and facilities were great. It was just a little closer to the owners home than I had realised and to walk around was walking on their land so wasn’t as private as I thought
