Nice nature. Staff is good. The factory images, the factory interior is interesting to look at. Outdoor seating is pleasant, at times I thought I was somewhere by the sea, maybe Italy 😀. Loud music, water noise, shutters in the windows, walls plastered with brick, wooden floor, a dress on a string in the air, a flag. The blinds in the windows are not working. I didn’t understand from the reservation that breakfast was included. I thought it was included. But the accommodation staff didn’t know. We paid for it on site.

It’s a great spot with a unique industrial vibe, super clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful; the breakfast was a bit plain—no eggs or sausages—but still good and worth the price.

The cleanliness was solid, the bed was comfy, and the kitchen and other areas were available and useful. The spot was spectacular, but the room was a bit small.

“Moc hezká ubytovna”

The old factory turned into a pretty well‑reconstructed hostel. The rooms are still fairly new, clean, a little small but sufficient, with limited but adequate amenities. There are shared showers and plenty of toilets, all tidy, and the shower comes with gel. Separate cubicles let you stash your clothes. They also have a nice kitchen, well equipped, almost like a dining area, though we didn’t get to try it. The Wi‑Fi performance is a bit forgettable. There’s a modest restaurant and a café, and we even got to grill something. Outdoor seating is available. Parking is in front of the hostel or a bit higher up on a larger lot. You can charge an electric car, apparently 11 or 22 kW, though we didn’t know that. Overall, a very nice hostel. The only downside is that if you have a street‑facing window, the traffic outside can be a little noisy, not a lot, but still noticeable.

“Ve Víru? Skvělý tip!”

A perfect stay right next to Lake Vír, offering silence, comfort, and useful tips for outings if that’s what you’re after. The service is excellent, and you can also enjoy the café or light snacks. Right outside the door you’ll find attractive ferratas or some well‑known cycling routes, so head straight to Vír! The offerings are gradually improving as the entire area and its services develop, so each month you might discover something new in both winter and summer.
