“Great Budget Option for Staying in Hoa Lu”

Most people only visit Hoa Lu at night, coming in from Tam Coc, but I wanted more and chose this basic guesthouse with no frills rooms but one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in for Vietnam! The owner spoke good English and was very helpful. I picked this spot as a halfway point between the historic center and Ninh Binh railway station. It’s in a very local area on a street lined with market stalls, and I would definitely stay here again!

Very good value for money. The room is fine with a fan and A/C. I liked that I could hire Kien’s scooter for the day; the price was very reasonable and it’s essential to move around in the area. Remember to bring your International Driving License. The owner’s availability was great! Nothing worth noting.

“Good short stay”

I only stayed one night, the staff were friendly, and the room was spacious with everything you needed. The only bad thing was a massive dead cockroach under a chair in the corner.
