The place was friendly, the food really great, and the atmosphere relaxed, yet the room was very small and the ensuite bathroom barely usable, especially the shower.

The accommodation is great if you like walks/hikes and the Welsh countryside, and it’s close to many waterfall trails; the bar below had a good food menu and a nice outdoor seating area, the bed was very comfortable, and check‑in was easy. However, we felt the accommodation wasn’t prioritized: it said you could have your towels and room done up daily, but after a long day it wasn’t done and I had to ask staff at 6 pm for fresh towels while our dirty ones stayed in the ensuite; the bathroom shower drain was possibly blocked and the ensuite smelled the whole time; there was no allocated parking for the accommodation, so we had to park further down the road and our car wasn’t visible from the accommodation or bar.
