The value for money was very good and the staff were helpful, but the stairs were quite tight for a suitcase, so I was lucky to get a room on the first floor; I also wish they would provide more fresh water bottles during my stay.

Everything was perfect.

The shower had great water pressure, which was a highlight, but they were burning something awful—either for pest control or to mask mold—that made the air unbreathable after a day of Saigon smog; it wasn’t asthma- or allergy-friendly, and I was ready to leave on the first night.

The place was clean, in a good location, and Madame NGA (the housekeeper) was welcoming; however, there were constant power cuts every 10 minutes, which knocked out Wi‑Fi, TV, and air‑conditioning, no hot water (solar‑powered), a tiny room that made it impossible to open our suitcases fully, a 140 cm bed, and the management operated like an Airbnb with a very unresponsive owner; it was advertised with a balcony but there was none.

It’s close to District 1, but I found it a bit uncomfortable because it isn’t spacious and they use incense as well as a mosquito‑repellent coil inside; they could consider another alternative.
