The historic building feels welcoming, the staff are friendly and the bed is comfortable. The room, however, was uncomfortably hot because hot water pipes run through it, so I had to keep the door propped open to cool it down.

The staff are friendly and very helpful, creating a lovely vibe among themselves; the overall atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful. The mattresses feel a bit firm, which is just a personal preference for what feels comfortable to sleep on.

The reception staff are friendly and helpful. The room is cozy and well kept, and they provided a rubber shower mat. I had to climb three flights of stairs to get to my room and there was no lift, so I’m glad I wasn’t lugging a big suitcase!
