We stayed in a suite that was perfect for our family of five. The location was great, just a short walk from Nagoya station, so we could easily use it as a base for day trips out of Nagoya (Ghibli Park and the Nakasendo). They also provided a free shuttle bus to the station, which was handy when we checked out. The highlight was the breakfasts, which offered an extraordinary array of amazing Japanese food. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

The room was a suite in the traditional Japanese style (Ryokan), with tatami‑mat floors and the requirement to leave shoes at the door, etc. For a traditional layout, the bathroom was modern and fully stocked. There wasn’t a breakfast option. Our stay was short, just one night, so we mainly enjoyed the room.

Their traditional breakfasts were so cultural and detailed; you never get the same in any 5‑star hotel.

When a reservation issue arose due to my mistake, the staff were kind and worked hard to resolve it. They also informed me that a free room change was possible if I wanted a tatami room in a double‑bed room, and they gladly switched my room. :) There was a family mart right nearby, and the location was close to Nagoya Station, making travel convenient.
