Château Sigalas Rabaud

“Excellent choice without and false pretence, allowing for a truly relaxing stay”

The decoration and style of the chateau create a welcoming, homely vibe. The room was well arranged and had a truly comfortable bed. A little remedial work could be done on the shower threshold; the skirting board had disintegrated at the entrance to the showering area. The room comfort, breakfast service, and breakfast terrace were very pleasant under the parasol.

“Great Stay at a Chateau in Sauternes France”

My son and I had a great time at Chateau Sigalas Rabaud, staying in a room that had windows all around. We enjoyed a private tour of the property and a wine tasting afterward, with Rebecca doing a fantastic job. We bought foie gras and wine at the chateau for a lovely dinner by the pool, which was pleasantly warm. The owner was very friendly and invited us to return during harvest, something I’d love to do. Celine in the kitchen was also very helpful. The only downside was that August was quite hot in this part of France; I’d prefer to visit in cooler months.

The welcome was warm, the décor was polished, and the blend of tradition and modernity was impressive.

“Excellent à refaire avec énorme plaisir”

The reservation process, follow‑up via messaging and phone, the presentation of the property, the tour of the château, the room, the bedding, and the wine tasting were all excellent. Nothing to complain about.

We had a delightful break among the quiet vineyards. The setting, furniture, comfort, staff reception, and breakfast felt like home.
