The place was in a good spot, the common area was really nice, and the bed was comfy. The bathrooms were really, really dirty, smelled bad, and never got cleaned during my stay; the floors around the shower were covered in animal feces and urine, and it took days to be cleaned.

The team is super friendly. The room is spacious and the bathroom has hot water. The roof terrace is amazing, well set up, and offers a great view. You can eat on the terrace. Breakfast is very good. They also have a real coffee machine, so you can drink great coffee. The location is quiet, next to a large garden. The common areas have a cigarette smell.

“Good choice for Thamel”

The bed was comfy. The location was quiet enough but still close to everything you want to see and do. The staff were helpful. The walls were thin, so I had to ask the dorm room next door to keep the noise down. There was a fan in the room, but it was very loud and not very effective.

I was disappointed by the check‑in process: the receptionist, who seemed nervous and likely new, took a long time filling out the computer forms, and the bed wasn’t ready even though it was supposed to be. After standing at the counter for 20 minutes with no updates, I took a seat at a nearby table. Two staff members later offered me water, apologized, and told me the room would be ready soon. I waited almost an hour before they finally said my room was ready, but the cleaning lady was still changing sheets. When I unpacked, she looked confused and said the room wasn’t clean. I was so frustrated that I decided to leave, even though the room should have been ready at the agreed check‑in time; they could have let me leave my things and return later, but instead I was left waiting with no explanation.
