Charlie and Sandra were perfect hosts—friendly, chatty, full of tips, and they made an excellent breakfast! The place is 1 km outside Llanwrtyd Wells on a dead‑end road, very quiet, and you can park on the property; a few steps bring you to the front door. Inside, there’s a large lounge for guests and a breakfast area. To reach the rooms you go up one flight of stairs. Our room was big, furnished with a large 2‑person bed, a small TV, a single bed, a nice sofa opposite the big TV, and a coffee table underneath. It had a generous ensuite bathroom. Everything was set up nicely, cozy, spotless, and smelled good. Breakfast was superb, offering a wide choice of cereals, milk, juice, water, fresh fruit salad, and a hot breakfast of your choice, which you had to order the day before. On the premises you’ll find a mare and two older foals, chickens, and two friendly dogs; the latter are only visible to the owners on the other side of the house. At the top of the outside staircase there’s a seat with a parasol where you can enjoy the sun. There was truly nothing to criticize.

The kids loved the corner bath, the beds were super comfy, the house was spotless, we all enjoyed the full English breakfast that was included, and the hosts were lovely.

The spot was practically next to the event we attended and close to a village with great food, and the view from the window in the morning was stunning enough for a few photos. Breakfast was fantastic and the beds were super comfy. The check‑in could have been clearer beforehand, but the owners greeted us right when we pulled in, so it hardly mattered.
