The hotel was filthy, with a stale, urine‑like odor that felt like it came from the plumbing or sauce, making me reluctant to even take off my shoes. We tried to stay for two days as a transit stop but couldn’t endure the smell for an hour and a half. We paid the full daily rate with no compensation. It’s better to pick a spot farther from the center where you can actually breathe.

A small hotel by the Baikunor metro, we had a room that could be split into two separate sleeping areas. We used the sauna with a pool on one of the two days, and breakfast was adequate. The front desk staff were helpful, but when it came to sauna access, they were unwilling to give clear information. On the first evening we couldn’t use it, and the next day we asked again before leaving the hotel whether the sauna would be available at night; they said yes, but when we returned after our booked window, we were told we didn’t have one. That was frustrating. We had to pay extra, which could have been avoided. A point to note.
