The countryside spot is lovely, the staff are friendly, the food is good, and it’s dog friendly with plenty of parking. It’s family run and the room is self‑contained. After my Google review, the liquid soap is now back to full strength and both sides of the bedside cabinets have been restored. The bathroom door sticks a bit, and the TV remote won’t turn the TV on or off, so I had to use the plug instead.

Bed is huge and very comfortable, shower was good, room was clean. Pub is lovely and cosy, food is excellent, staff were all very friendly and efficient. Nothing

The rooms are quiet at the back of the pub, the car park is decent and spacious, and the shower has good pressure. Breakfast was a bit basic and wasn’t included.

Dining at the pub was a highlight, and the location was convenient while we were traveling between Bristol Airport and Cornwall. The cleanliness could be better.
