“Great location, but poor service and a disappointing room allocation.”
The town of Nerja stayed true to its charm, and the hotel sits right on Calle Pintada, just a short walk from tapas spots, eateries and the beach. The room was contemporary and tidy, a solid spot to start exploring. However, we had paid extra for a pool‑view room but ended up with a city view, even after raising the issue with the hotel and the booking site. We chose the pool view to dodge the street noise from people, mopeds and bin lorries, yet nothing was done to fix it. The main bathroom light was broken and never repaired after we mentioned it on day two. Tea bags, milk and bottled water were missing, despite the advertised tea‑making facilities and coffee pods.
