Very welcoming, excellent breakfast; the room was a bit old and needed refreshing, and the walls were stained.

The accommodation felt very comfortable and the rooms were spacious; we especially enjoyed the private onsens and the excellent dinner, and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

As a foreigner, we experienced all facets of Japanese service at this inn: sleeping on a futon, traditional meals, and a hot spring; the hotel is located on the roadside.
