The hotel is stunningly beautiful, situated in a quiet spot next to nature. We had a very relaxing time, used the sauna, and enjoyed the fantastic dinner. It was worth the price and the service was excellent.

The staff were very friendly and family‑friendly, and we felt very welcome with our baby. Breakfast offered a variety of options, so there was something for everyone. The garden with the koi pond was beautiful and well maintained, and the restaurant had a direct view of it, creating a lovely atmosphere. The location is great for a trip to Hieizan. The food was good, but it could have been more varied—three courses were almost identical on two consecutive evenings. We paid a fairly high premium for better quality meat, which didn’t feel justified by the price, especially since the standard option was quite tough and didn’t match fine dining standards. Overall, the pricing seems questionable, as you can’t even use the spa without paying a hefty surcharge, and the small rooms don’t justify the high nightly rate. A major issue was the mold everywhere in the bathroom.

The location is gorgeous, very secluded, and everything is meticulously organized. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast overlooking a beautiful courtyard garden. The sauna we rented was flawless, featuring both a hot and a cold bath. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always providing fresh towels each morning and even a clean trash bin if needed. The fridge was well stocked, and there was a snack waiting for us when we returned in the evening.
