The only good thing was the spot; nobody was around to help us, no staff at check‑in or check‑out, and we never saw anyone. We followed the signs to the camp area, but they weren't ready for us or any other guests, and the washrooms were dirty and unkempt, not what we expected.

The location between the red Kalahari dunes was wonderful. The host was very helpful and friendly, and handed us takeaway cheese and biltong sandwiches when we couldn't stay for breakfast. Electricity went out at night and the air‑con stopped working, but that was due to the bad weather and rain.
