The hotel’s location is great for visiting the aquarium or the Olde Mystick Village, both just a short walk away, so you can shop and dine without having to drive back. The lobby is also beautiful. Unfortunately, the rooms feel dated, the bed isn’t very comfortable, and the walls are thin—I could hear my neighbors’ conversations. Also, this is the only property in Mystic that charges for parking; when I booked, the Booking policy said parking was free. I told the staff, and they said I should have checked the Hilton website, even though I was booking through a third‑party site. After talking to several people, they waived the charge, which was kind. Breakfast is available for an extra fee. There are nicer options with more included amenities nearby, so I’ll likely stay with a non‑Hilton property next time.
