The hotel is a 5-minute drive from Formosa Aboriginal Culture Village and 15 minutes from Xiangshan Visitor Centre. Hardwood flooring guestrooms feature desks, satellite TVs, and mountain views from private balconies. Meeting facilities and a fitness centre are on site.

The staff were all very friendly. Even though it’s a pet‑friendly hotel, there’s no place to walk the dog, which is a bit inconvenient.

The hotel offered a plentiful breakfast and was within walking distance of the city centre; you could also eat elsewhere, though some nearby places close early or don’t open at all, and the hot water in the shower was abundant with good pressure. On rainy days we arrived early enough to park in the underground garage without getting wet, and there seemed to be bicycles available for trips into town, though we didn’t use them. The only downside was that the tea bags in the room were oolong; a Sun Moon Lake black tea would have been nicer.
