The area was quiet and the town itself was peaceful; the apartment was clean and tidy. The host was friendly, helpful and kind, and we could leave our luggage downstairs so we didn't have to haul it up the steep stairs. The town centre was a short downhill walk, and the train station was 10 minutes up the hill. Nothing was out of order.

The apartment sits in a strategic spot, a five‑minute walk from the station and another five minutes to the Basilica Santa Maria degli Angeli; buses to all of Assisi’s tourist sites depart next to the Basilica. The apartment is very clean and fully equipped for a perfect stay, so I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy Assisi in complete comfort. At night, however, some smells from nearby locals slightly marred the enjoyment of the terrace.

The Iris room is spacious, modernly furnished, and clean, and you can comfortably fit three people. The shared kitchen has everything you need. The owner also left coffee, tea, and chamomile for us. He was a genuinely kind and helpful person. The only downside is the lack of an elevator; it’s on the second floor and we had a bit of trouble carrying a stroller and luggage with a newborn, although the owner offered to help us when we arrived.
