“Ótimo.”
The venue was undergoing renovations, yet it still met our expectations well. The place was clean, the air‑conditioning worked perfectly, and the shower was great. The bathroom was a bit small, so it might not be that comfortable for everyone. The host was very kind and helpful. Since I’d forgotten the voltage was different and my hair dryer didn’t work, she kindly lent me one. She also left towels for us, which was very useful during the stay. Overall, we had a good experience and felt warmly welcomed. The only downside was the breakfast, which is extra. For me and my colleague it was convenient to have that option, but we felt the selection was somewhat limited and repetitive. Some days, for example, there was papaya and coconut cake, which I don’t eat, and there weren’t many other alternatives. It might have made more sense to include breakfast in the room rate, even with a small increase, or to offer a slightly larger variety. In our case, the additional cost didn’t feel worth it. Still, I think this can vary a lot depending on each guest’s preferences.
