“Gemütlich, familiär, gepflegt und ausgezeichnet gelegen für Ausflüge - immer gerne wieder!”
The meal was generous, featuring local products served at a cozy large “family table,” which I thoroughly enjoyed.

It was very comfortable, a lovely spot, with a good breakfast; above all, Amaia was an amazing host—she was incredibly hospitable and helpful with everything from local walks to winery recommendations and even other parts of our trip.

The local bodegas in Gure – Mahaia were great and the restaurant experience was unique. The town is small, so having a car is essential, and the bodegas work best with reservations because the wine bars don’t seem to expect any traffic.

We spent two nights in La Molinera Etxea during our Rioja trip and absolutely loved it; the house matched the photos exactly, the room was spacious and cozy with great air conditioning and hot water, and the bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast, served by the owners, was a delightful experience shared with other guests. The town itself is tiny, with a bar next door offering incredible views and a new restaurant a short walk away that serves one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The streets are charming, but the village is small, so a car or transport is needed to get around. Street parking in front of the house was convenient, and it was only 10 minutes or less from many vineyards and Laguardia. I would highly recommend staying here, and if we return to Rioja, we’ll definitely stay again.
