The riverside vibe was refreshing and close to the pedestrian street, quiet and spacious rooms were comfy, though the shower pressure was weak; the service was excellent, friendly and very polite. They offered bikes, but the condition wasn't great; breakfast was tasty, the décor was cute, but the menu was limited and there was no coffee – you’d have to pay extra for a cup.

Right on the Nan River, the host was lovely, the espresso‑based coffees were nice, and guests could use free bikes – the town is perfect for cycling with many side streets to dodge the main traffic.
