It’s nice that this lodging is dog friendly and is within walking distance of everything you want to reach in Ashland. The only drawback is that it’s an old‑school lodge with no elevators, which makes it a challenge to bring in luggage unless you are a light packer 😁

“Clean, comfortable, and quiet inn in a super location. Great for a 2 night's stay.”

The location was good, the room was comfortable and clean. The only inconvenience was having to use the microwave in the main office to make tea; a small electric kettle would have been helpful.

The location is great and it made a nice overnight stopover for our road trip. The accommodations were adequate for a short stay, and everything was walkable to dining and town. The building feels old and dated, the bedding could use improvement, and the AC/heating unit was very noisy, turning on and off all night and waking me each time.

The hotel is close to the theaters, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Even though the building is older, the room was very clean. The staff offered a later than normal check‑out time and let us keep our car in their lot after checking out because we had a play to see at 1:30 PM. The only issue was that we couldn’t get the television to work; the picture kept freezing.

“Nice stay , close to everything. Will return.”

The location in the historic district is great, and it’s an easy walk to the park, theatres, dining, and shopping. The only downside was that we had to cross the main drag to access the breakfast and pool area.
