“Mid-week stay in King of Prussia”
City Express is just around the corner from a Renaissance Inn by Marriott, so I drove past it and had to turn back to find it. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The first two rooms we entered had a very strong cleaning‑spray odor that made it hard to breathe and caused us to cough immediately; the third room was fine and very clean. Each room had a small patio with a table and chairs, and we liked sitting outside. Violet worked at the reception desk and was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel’s location is very convenient, close to King of Prussia Mall and major highways. The overpowering cleaning‑spray smell in the rooms was a major issue. There were no tissues in the room, no exhaust fan in the bathroom so the mirror fogged up, and the included breakfast was mediocre. The egg‑white frittata and western egg frittata were rubbery and cold, and there was no fresh fruit available.
